I visited the Materials Science Institute of Madrid (ICMM) and gave a seminar on our recent results. It was a great experience to share our work and to witness the impressive achievements in the field of 2D materials icmm_ED

Bilkent University’s National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) has had recent success with the “REPAINT” project led by Dr. Selma Mayda ve Assoc. Prof. Engin Durgun and supported by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) program. Titled “Computational Investigation of Degradation Processes in Historical Paintings Using DFT and AI (REPAINT),” the project has secured funding from MSCA, one of the European Union’s most prestigious grants supporting doctoral and postdoctoral researchers.

The Nanotechnology Workshop was held on October 2-3, 2024, with the support of the Netherlands Innovation Network Turkey, in collaboration with Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM), and the University of Twente’s MESA+ Institute. The two-day workshop brought together leading researchers from the Netherlands and Turkey, featuring presentations, panels, and lab tours in fields including metamaterials, nanoelectronics, photonics, and nanobiotechnology.
